TurboNETTM
The TurboNETTM Ethernet Adapter Card allows you to hook your TiVo up to your network. This allows daily updates over broadband instead of the telephone, easier hacking, TiVoWEB, etc.
CAUTION - READ THIS You must understand that opening your TiVo is dangerous. High voltages are present inside your TiVo and you can be hurt if you open the case. You must also understand that it WILL VOID YOUR TiVo WARRANTY. Simply put, this means that it WILL VOID YOUR TiVo WARRANTY if you open your TiVo. Like as in don't call or email me or TiVo or Philips or Sony or anybody else if you damage something. Don't even touch those Torx screws unless you fully understand this and are prepared to toss it in the trash can if something goes wrong. The assembled TurboNET cards are completely tested to insure they are in working condition when they are shipped. Due to the nature of this product, we cannot offer any warranty or returns. The use of the TurboNET Board is experimental and may not work with all TiVo's and may not work in the future. As with any modifications, you can damage your TiVo or other components including the TurboNET board itself, by installing this product. This product, like most all hacking items, requires some knowledge about networking and the TiVo. ALL technical support will be handled on the TechnicalPeak Forum. Completely Assembled and Tested TurboNETTM Card

TurboNETTM Network Connect Kit The TurboNETTM Network Connect Kit gives you a permanent RJ45 connection to your TurboNET board that can be mounted on the outside back of the TiVo. This kit consists of an RJ45 to RJ45 Adapter and a short Patch Cable. One end of the patch cable is inserted thru the square hole in the bottom of the TiVo under the fan and is plugged into the TurboNETTM Card. The other end of the patch cable is plugged into the RJ45 x RJ45 adapter and is zip tied on the back of the TiVo. You can then plug your patch cable going to the network hub into the other side of the RJ45 jack on the adapter.
We also have quality patch cables in various lengths with
boots on both ends. Boots and cable are Gray in color.

Replacement Drive Kit With These kits are for folks that want more recording capacity and would like to get updates over the internet using a TurboNETTM but would rather have it all set-up and ready-to-go without any software programming, etc. These come preconfigured to use DHCP and have telnet and ftp enabled and also include TiVoWEB. This is a replacement drive kit which means you remove your original TiVo drive and replace it with the new disk drive. You can keep your original TiVo drive for a backup. Includes the following:
